Roy's Invasion in Austin - March 2009

Maybe it was the vodka lemonades, but most people blamed the fun on the good old fashioned infusion of great music. John brought his bad ass band to Texas and knocked people out at the 14 shows he played in Austin, including a string of them at Roy's. Shawn Pimental, Mike Grande, Imua Garza, Frank Carillo and Sean Carillo were among the boys in the band who brought the house down on a nightly basis. John's family members, including Tiffa, Connie and Ernie Sr. crashed the stage on a number of occasions to add even more good times to one of the best tours ever.
