KWXX Ho'olaule'a Missing You Video
KWXX is a fantastic Hilo radio station and every year for the past 16 years, they've hosted the annual Ho'olaule'a. Over 10,000 fans pack the downtown streets for concerts on 3 stages, tons of food and usually some of Hilo's famous rain. It held off for John's performance this time, while he and band members Randy Lorenzo, brother Tony Cruz and Frank Carillo played for over an hour. No need wetsuit brah, surfer shorts 'nuf. Surfers love this song and rarely get to hear it anymore. It was a radio hit for John in the 90's, but is now out of print and not widely available. Fans in Redwood City, CA got a special treat at the Little Fox during his recent show there.

Sparky the Parrot

Every spring, Jack Johnson invites his musician friends to his annual Kokua Festival at the Waikiki Shell on Oahu. The concert raises money for his Kokua Foundation to benefit environmental education in Hawaii. This year, John and brother Ernie joined Jack to do it Island Style in front of thousands.
